I currently work at Stardog as a Cloud Engineer where I work on building and maintaining Stardog Cloud. I'm currently working on setting up my own homelab to gain more experience with Linux administration.

Stardog, Cloud Engineer, August 2022 - Present

Troubleshot and resolved critical issues in a production Kubernetes cluster as part of an on-call rotation.
Successfully planned and executed upgrades for Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) after extensive testing in lower environments.
Leveraged Python to develop new features and capabilities for Stardog Cloud.
Designed and troubleshot build pipelines in Jenkins and CircleCI.
Created and modified Terraform modules to deploy new infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Created Grafana dashboards, panels, and alarms to ensure fast response time to production issues.
Enhanced Helm charts used for Stardog Cloud with new features and greater flexibility.
Migrated Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) databases from Aurora serverless to provisioned resulting in a 31% cost savings.
Participated in candidate interviews, and post-hire, facilitated smooth onboarding by providing detailed explanations of our infrastructure to new team members.
